Tips for Planning the Best Universal Studios Visit
Today we’re sharing five planning tips to make your trip to Universal Orlando Resort even better than you imagined! From the prime time to purchase your tickets to the best places to eat and everything in between, we’ve got you covered!
Purchase Your Tickets in Advance!
Whether you’re a wizard looking forward to a magical day in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ or you’re all about the thrills and want to ride every coaster in Islands of Adventure’s Marvel Super Hero Island® the last thing you want to do is subject yourself to waiting in line to buy tickets. Save yourself the time and, of course, the money and purchase your tickets in advance! (We can help you with that here!)
Decide Which Ticket Works Best for You!
Personally, a 1-Day, 2-Park ticket always works for us but it’s important to know how much time you have for the day and if you plan on coming back another time during your trip! We highly suggest a Park-to-Park ticket if you plan on experiencing all that Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure have to offer! Remember with a Park-to-Park Ticket you’re able to ride the Hogwarts Express™ between both Diagon Alley™ and Hogsmeade™!
PRO TOP: if you have children, the Hogwarts Express™ is the perfect immersive attraction that allows you to sit back, relax and enjoy a little AC for a while.
Schedule Lunch During Off-Peak Times!
Some people enjoy a sit-down reservation at a restaurant like Lombard’s Seafood Grille™ while others enjoy a quick counter service experience which you can find at Comic Strip Café, regardless of your preference, you’ll save time if you dine outside of the typical 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. window!
Plan to Ride Your MUST RIDE Attractions During the Typical Lunch Hour!
One thing we’ve noticed is that most theme park Guests take lunch during your typical lunch hours - between 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. - what does that mean for you? It means lines and wait times are down! Do yourself a favor, eat before or after the lunch rush and take advantage of the low attraction wait times!
Have a Plan and Download the Official Universal Orlando App!
This might just be one of the most important tips for planning your trip! Whether you’re planning to spend just one day at the parks, or you plan on hopping around over a few days, it’s important to plan your visit and make a list of the attractions you absolutely must ride, as well as any snacks and photos that you want to make sure you eat and take! Additionally, downloading the Universal Orlando App is a great help in planning because you have the park in the palm of your hand! From line wait times to confirming park hours and more, you can do it all!
We hope our tips for planning help you make the most from your next trip to Universal Orlando! Be sure to give us a call for discounted tickets!
